Privacy

Bridge is pre-launch. Right now the only thing this website does is hold a waitlist, so this policy is short and specific rather than a wall of boilerplate. It will be replaced with a fuller policy before the product opens.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we store what you typed:

• First name — so emails from us are addressed to a person.
• Email address — to tell you when Bridge opens.
• Age — so we build the right part of the journey first. We do not ask for your date of birth.
• Phone number — used to send your invitation, and for nothing else. We do not sell it, share it, or send marketing messages to it.
• Country — so we know where to open first.
• Whether you use an iPhone or an Android — so we build the right app first. We do not read anything from your device to work this out; we just ask.
• Dream university — optional, and only used in aggregate to understand what people are aiming at.

Alongside that, we store a small amount of technical context:

• A referral code for you, and the code of whoever invited you, so invitations can be credited.
• Your browser user agent and a one-way hash of your IP address. We never store the address itself — the hash exists only to slow down automated signups.
• The time you signed up.

Analytics

We use PostHog to understand how people move through this page — how far they scroll, which button they press, whether the form worked. Session recording is switched off. We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not build profiles of you.

Getting in touch

Joining the list sends you nothing. We will write or message you when there is an invitation to give you, or if something changes that you need to know about. There is no newsletter.

Where it lives

Waitlist data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with row-level security enabled; the table is not readable by the public key. The site is hosted on Vercel.

Your data, your call

Write to privacy@bridge.app and we will send you everything we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. No form, no friction. Deletion removes your row entirely, including your referral history.

Children

Bridge is built for students, including people under 18. We collect the minimum described above and nothing more. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, please join with a parent or guardian’s knowledge.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your data, we will email everyone on the waitlist before it takes effect.
